College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat (CEMK) was established and run by Vidyasagar Society for Integrated Learning (VSIL) of Department of Power, Government of West Bengal. The Governing body of the VSIL is the apex body of the College. Honourable Minister- in-Charge of Department of Power, Government of West Bengal is the Chairman of the Governing body of the Society. All other members are nominated by the Government of West Bengal. In terms of Memo No. 861-Home(Cons.)/RIM(Cons.)-40/2026, dated 11th May, 2026, the previous Committee of the Society has been dissolved, with immediate effect, i.e from 11th May, 2026.
